This painting shows Cradle Mountain (Tasmania) in the misty distance with bits of snow still on the mountain. The rustic shed in the foreground with the colourful water captured my imagination.

It was inspired on a trip to Melbourne, Australia. It shows Princess Bridge with the city in the back ground. I was struck by the moody softness and pastels of the city in the background and the dark green of the water under the bridge.

On the last day of a trip to Tasmania we came across this lovely old bridge dating back to 1823 in the town of Richmond. It was late afternoon and the reflection of the bridge in the water with sun going down was very pretty.
